Z-Bait Fish Trap - NEW DESIGN!!

Please Note: We are now offering a PREMIUM quality 1/2 x 1/2 inch z-trap. If you want a trap in the 1/2 x 1/2 inch wire, that is more durable than the hardware cloth, check out our PREMIUM Quality Z-Bait Fish Trap (linked below).

This new Z-Style trap has been quite popular around the south lately, and I have finally had a chance to get some built and put up on the site!

This trap can be used for pretty much any bait-fish you'd like to catch, and I highly recommend it for perch, sunfish, bream, bullheads, and pinfish (pvc version).

This bait fish trap will come in three different mesh types, and you can select your desired mesh type in the drop-down menu above.

DIMENSIONS: The dimensions are approximately 2 ft (length) x 2 ft (height) x 11.5 in (width), with the four fish entry points being 1 in by 3 in each. This trap is legal on most public lakes, but be sure to check your local regulations before ordering.

This trap comes ready to fish and all you have to do is throw it in the water... no bait required for sunfish, perch, or bream. Just check out the video below!

250 Bluegill caught in 1 week - OUTSTANDING!

We have a 1/4 acre mud koi pond that has been taken over by bluegill fish. It's gotten to the point that the bluegill aren't letting any food get to our koi and I have finally had enough. For the 1st 5 days using the Z bait trap, we didn't even use bait and we would get 15+ bluegill each time, several times a day. By the end of the week, the bluegill were getting smarter and we had to find a netting bag to place fish food in so that we could twist tie it to the inner cage. Worked fantastic! We are 284 and counting and have only had the Z bait trap for a little over a week. The opening is too small for our round koi, so our pets can't get into the trap. This trap has made me so happy to have a tool to take back our pond. We got the PVC coating version so that we can use this trap for years. Thank you, Mike!

Wow! Thank you so much for the kind words, Ben and Janet! I an sincerely glad that you're happy with your purchase and that it is suiting your needs well. Also, thanks for attaching the image of your trap in action as well. That's awesome! Best of luck with your koi pond going forward, and thanks again for taking the time to leave the kind words in your review. I appreciate you!
